Sine Cera
Catholic Gifts was established in 2004 by John & Su Sincere. We provide quality, affordable religious goods to Catholic retailers throughout the United States and Canada. We are a family owned and operated business.
We import all our merchandise directly from South Korean manufacturers - Su is originally from Korea. We visit our manufacturers annually to find and develop new products and to ensure quality is being maintained and improved. Korea is a highly industrialized and prosperous nation thriving under a vigorous democracy. We can assure you that our manufacturer's employees are fairly and honestly treated. One of our manufacturers, in fact, employs a number of handicapped individuals providing them with dignified employment.
We believe we provide high quality, traditional (yet unique) religious goods at the best price possible.
The majority of our statues are a crushed stone composite. The crushed stone composite is a step up from resin and gives the statues an attractive smooth finish. They are expertly hand painted with detailed features and vibrant colors. The first thing our customers comment on about our statues is how beautiful the faces are. As you know, this is probably the most important thing your customers are looking for in a statue as well.
Other than the St. Benedict crucifixes (WTM220 &WTM330) and the WP19 (hang or stand) crucifix which are made of a wood composite, our crucifixes are all made with solid Walnut. The corpuses are all made with fine two tone pewter except for our WL2 and WL4 crucifixes which have hand carved wood corpuses. The St. Benedict crucifixes also come with a pamphlet that explains the history of the St. Benedict medal and how to have them properly blessed. We believe we have the best constructed crucifixes on the market.
We have a wide variety of Jujube Wood, Wood and Gemstone rosaries. Our Jujube Wood and Wood rosaries are all hand made using durable cord. The centerpieces and crucifixes are all precisely laser cut. These rosaries have a great feel to them and are designed to be prayed with for a very long time. Our Gemstone 8mm & 6mm rosaries are all hand made using quality gemstones and constructed with durable links. The quality of these rosaries is really "felt" when you hold one of them in your hand. The links, centerpieces and crucifixes are all rhodium plated to prevent tarnishing.
Our very popular rosary bracelets come in a variety of materials to include Jujube Wood, Wood, Gemstone, Crystal, Ceramic & Acrylic. They are all made with a durable stretch construction for easy on and off - great for easily praying your rosary anywhere and anytime. The Gemstone 8mm & 6mm bracelets, in addition to quality gemstones, also come with genuine Swarovski Crystal spacers and Miraculous Medal. Our Jujube Wood and Wood bracelets come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. The centerpieces are all precisely laser engraved with most having a crucifix on one side and an image of Our Lady on the other side. The RBS3B, RBS3D, RBS3E and RBS2A are also large enough and masculine enough for men as well. We have a large variety of Twisting rosary bracelets as well - crystal, gemstone and wood. They untwist into either a one decade or 5 decade rosary depending on the style. Our Crystal rosary bracelets are made with Czech Crystal. Finally, our popular Children's acrylic rosary bracelets are made with the same durable stretch material as the adult bracelets. We suggest buying at least two or three of each and placing them altogether in a small basket for a bright attractive display.
We have a wide variety of Cell Phone Accessories that attach just like a hand strap. Therefore, you can use them to personalize anything that a hand strap could attach to - purses, backpacks, flash drives, etc. Mainly popular with women, they are very attractive, durable and made with quality material.
Our Holy Water Fonts are made of the same crushed stone composite that our statues are made of. They are all hand painted with beautiful detail. People often comment on the nice "deep" fonts that they all have. The OJ135 Holy Spirit Font is a great Confirmation gift. The OJ136 Eucharist Font is a nice gift for First Communion. The OJ133, OJ134, OJ135, OJ136 and OJ148 Fonts have a wide enough base to even stand on their own.
We have four different types of Sterling Ring Rosaries. The RRSS2 (sterling spinning) and RRSG2 (18K gold plated sterling spinning) are two part rings where the inside of the ring spins smoothly inside its outer ring. Many people will actually wear the ring on their forefinger and use their thumbs to spin the inside of the ring as they pray their rosary. Each of these ring rosaries has 10 small roses and a cross on them. The RRSS1 (sterling non-spinning) is a one piece ring with 10 small roses and a cross on the ring. The RRSS2, RRSG2 and RRSS1 rings come in sizes 5 - 13. The RRSSC sterling ring is a thinner ring with attractive colored crosses. These come in sizes 4 - 8 1/2 and can be worn by children and ladies as well.
There are about 100 species of jujube composed of trees and shrubs found chiefly in the tropical and sub-tropical regions of the world. Christ's Thorn Jujube (Ziziphus spina-christi) is one of these. This spiny tree grows in Israel in all valleys and lowlands. The tree and its parts appear to have been in use in Pharaonic industry (carpentry), diet and medicine. In Christian tradition the tree was identified with the thorn bush with which Jesus was crowned before his crucifixion. This is also the source for the scientific name (spina-christi). Christian pilgrims took branches of the tree back to their homeland as souvenirs in the belief that Jesus's crown of thorns was made from such branches. The wood is heavy and durable and serves for artistic woodwork.
